The Kramer Events team has been working diligently behind the scenes to prepare for this year’s Wedding and Event season, and they kicked it off strong with the ACI Jet’s 20th Anniversary Gala.
The Kramer Lighting crew set up an amazing display, arranging multiple sets of blue and white uplights along the walls of the hanger to create a colorful effect throughout the building. Pinspot lights on the ceiling illuminated the beautiful centerpieces arranged on the dining tables, and custom projections, an airplane, and the ACI Jet’s Logo can be seen along the back wall of the hanger.
Kramer Events Coordinator, Renee Weber worked endlessly to ensure the night came together just right. The guests loved the custom airplane place cards that she handcrafted directing them to their appropriate seat on the “runway”.
It was inspirational for our team to hear how far ACI Jet has come in their 20 years of existence, and how much they give back to their employees and the community.
Spring is fast approaching and soon we will begin to see the Central Coast blossom with color. We’re talking flowers, and Kramer Events has the inside scoop on some of the most talented floral experts in the Central Coast Wedding industry.

Imagine having your wedding secluded at a private winery and villa with a picturesque French inspired terrace, romantic fountains, winding staircases, and luxurious rooms overlooking 50+ acres of Paso Robles wine country – is this a dream? Emily and Carlos met while she was working for the baseball team he played for, but their fate was sealed when they randomly bumped into one another on New Years Eve in Tahoe and shared a life-changing NYE kiss.
The Hernandez wedding was classically glamorous, with a gorgeous color scheme of Gold, Ivory, and Blush and had unique components, like Emily and Carlos’ beloved French Bulldogs, in the cutest little doggy tuxedos, being escorted down the aisle during their ceremony.
The Kramer Events team had the pleasure of providing Dj, Coordination, Photography, Videography, Lighting, and Photobooth services to complete this couple’s special day, alongside the CaliPaso in-house catering staff and some other great local vendors.

So, let’s take it “Slo” and explore the things that make a Central Coast wedding such a magical and memorable experience.
One of the main draws of the area is its abundance of natural and historical site seeing opportunities and modern day amenities. Often, you and your guests will be traveling long distances to be on the Central Coast for your wedding day and the days surrounding it, so you want to ensure everyone is well accommodated and having a great time. Not to worry. There are endless options when it comes to lodging, dining, and fun activities catering to all lifestyles. Here we will explore a few regions in the area and what they have to offer.
First area of discussion is the one and only city of San Luis Obispo. Located in south county, this moderate sized collage town is the epicenter of activity in the area. It is home to California Polytechnic University, known to locals as Cal Poly. The vibes here are creative and fun. During the day, enjoy shopping, great food, and historic sites such as the San Luis Obispo Mission or the intriguing display in Bubble Gum Alley. If you’re here on a Thursday evening you can walk the streets of downtown SLO enjoying a vast farmers market with organic goodies and homemade treasures from all over the county, as well as an active city nightlife. Enjoy a stay at the luxurious Madonna Inn, which offers much more than just lodging, or one of the many other hotels, B&B’s, or vacation rentals available in the city.
Next, lets move on to explore some of the seaside experiences the Central Coast has to offer. Travel out of the city headed north on the historic Highway 1 through several beach towns. The first stop will be Morro Bay, where you can experience an elegant seafood dinner overlooking the ocean, or a more casual bite of fish and chips by the docks; rent kayaks and paddle boards and explore the bay on your own, or take a guided boat tour. Continue a bit further and you will reach the town of Cambria Beach where you will find all the best vintage items in the locally owned shops along Main street. On past Cambria, the highway winds along the coast to your left, and to your right you will soon be stunned to see a herd of zebra grazing on the expanding fields below Hearst Castle – take a guided tour that will leave you feeling nostalgic for times long past.
Last, but certainly not least lets venture inland where you can take it easy in beautiful wine country. Unlike San Luis Obispo, the city of Paso Robles has a relaxed small town feel to it, but there is never a shortage of things to do here. Experience one of many family friendly festivals such as the Art Festival, Lavender Festival, and Olive Festival that take place on several weekends throughout the year in the downtown city park. Become familiar with the work of community farmers, artists and other creative professionals who add a unique flair to the Paso culture. Drive into the country and enjoy breathtaking views, and of course plenty of wine, at one of the hundreds of wineries that are sprinkled throughout the area. One such Winery that we have personally worked with on several occasions is Justin Winery, located remotely and enjoying views far and wide, you will be enchanted by the beauty all around.

Speaking of tables, All About Events is a Central Coast Wedding Vendor specializing in handcrafted farm tables you can rent for your dining and display needs. They also offer a broad range of tableware, furniture, and other specialty items such as dancefloors, heaters/umbrellas, and tents.

I mean come on, if we’re being completely honest, that gut wrenching ball of excitement sitting at the bottom of your stomach day of would feel a whole lot better if you had your own personal getaway. A man cave at that, to just sit back and relax and prep for one of the most memorable days of your life. Ultimate game changer my friend!
What happens when a handsome Firefighter meets a gorgeous, independent and entrepreneurial woman? A dynamic duo! Brock and Jenelle celebrated their love in front of family and close friends on May 6, 2017, at the always stunning Terra Mia Vineyard on the westside of the Paso Robles Wine Region.
Brock and Jenelle met and fell in love almost immediately. Both are very strong people, who shared a close bond with their families, and together are incredibly charitable to their community. The couple’s qualities were evident in their day as their guests were brought to happy tears as they watched their engagement video during the reception. While proposing, Brock had surprised Jenelle by hiding a tiny camera in the ring box, and caught her expression and her “YES” all on film. The Bride’s Father, who works in the Entertainment industry, then surprised the couple with his own video- a message of congratulations by “The Princess Bride” star, Cary Elwes, who wished the couple a “Happy Mawidge”.
Guests celebrated the couple and feasted on a delicious menu by Phil’s Catering (including an amazing Mac & Cheese!). Then, enjoyed a wedding cake crafted by the bride’s friend for her day.
Kramer Events Photographer, Patrick Ibarra, photographed the “joyous and loving” couple who could not wait to get back to the party and celebrate with their loved ones! Our DJ team shared that the event was one of their “Top 10” favorite weddings, as they ate, drank, and danced into the night at the gorgeous Terra Mia Vineyard!

The clouds parted and the sun shined for Katelyn and Bruce’s wedding at Bianchi Winery in Paso Robles. With a light-hearted color scheme of red, pink, and burgundy, the couple’s child-at-heart nature came through in every aspect of the day (they met in a toy store!). With a nod to vintage glamour, Katelyn chose satin flats from Etsy, and assisted her friend Lauren, owner of Etsy shop, Zella and Kay in creating a gorgeous felt toss bouquet. Making sure little touches that reflected their personality and personal style was marquee for the couple.
With its variance in location of ceremony and reception sites at Bianchi Winery, it is one of our favorite Central Coast Wedding Venues to shoot! We love how the winery’s lush vineyards meet the pond just off the tasting room, creating a variety of back drops and locations. The couple chose the hilltop area just off the winery’s production room to say their vows, and guests were treated stunning vineyard views and peeks of the sunset!
Having met when Bruce wandered into the toy store where Katelyn worked, the couple bonded early on their shared love of all things young-at-heart and Legos. Katelyn says that she knew immediately that Bruce was someone special, and thought about him non-stop after their first meeting. He found his way back to that toy store a few months later- and they have been inseparable since! They recently made the move from Katelyn’s hometown, San Luis Obispo, California, to College Station, Texas, where Bruce has a position at his Alma Mater, Texas A&M University.
With their shared love of the Paso Robles Wine Region, it was a natural choice for them to return to the Central Coast for their wedding. Friends and family from all over the country joined them for what became a weekend event of dinners, and (of course) wine tasting. Both fell in love with the pond at Bianchi Winery, and decided it was their dream venue.
Guests were escorted to the tasting room, where they were treated to hand passed appetizers by Chipwrecked Catering; bruschetta, mac and cheese stuffed sweet peppers, and fresh fruit- and sipped on a selection of wines by Bianchi Winery. Dinner was located on the patio overlooking the pond, and was a delicious buffet of prime rib, butternut squash lasagna, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole- a few of the couple’s favorite dishes. Dessert was strawberry shortcake, also by Chipwrecked, and red velvet cake by Lickity Split, now known as Pardon my French Bakery.
As the sun set over Bianchi, guests danced to jazz standards and were entertained by the bride’s friends- all accomplished swing dancers. It was a swinging evening to remember in Paso Robles!

Top planners, venues, and key industry advocates were invited last week to a new and very special event. VI Preview 2017, a collaborative effort by Greengate Ranch & Vineyard, Kramer Events, All About Events, Ribline Catering, Noonan’s Wine Country Designs, Biddle Ranch, Salt & Stag Creative, Sidecar Cocktail Co., Scout Rental Co, and Flowers by Kim celebrated the official beginning of the 2017 event season by rolling out their “A” game! Billed “Part Inspiration, Part Culinary Tour, and Part Booty Shaking Party”, VI Preview allowed attendees to see the chicest and coolest new services and looks for the upcoming season.

The evening began with a bubbles and cheese party in the stunning stables at Greengate Ranch. Once a horse barn; the stables have been renovated and are ready for intimate dinners, cocktail receptions, and ceremonies. Guests were treated to welcome glasses of Sparkling Wine by neighbor, Biddle Ranch Vineyard. The bottles housed in a rustic barrel wine chiller by All About Events, and surrounded by floral ice cubes by Noonan’s Wine Country Designs. Guests milled about concept tables designed by Brooke Johnson of All About Events; listened to the sounds of Kramer Events’s live musician, Matt Cross; and were treated to a delicious (and beautiful!) charcuterie board by Ribline Catering, under chandeliers by Kramer Events. The board featured selections by Fromagerie Sophie, Catteneo Bros., and local fruits.
Guests then meandered down to the Vintage Barn and Courtyard for an evening of networking, eating, drinking, and dancing! The team at All About Events showcased their new clear top jumbo track tent, draped elegantly by Flowers by Kim, and furnished beautifully by Greer Woodruff of Scout Rental Co.. Luxe Linen’s 2016 and 2017 linen line were showcased as well, brilliantly by Brooke Johnson of All About Events, and highlighted the rental companies gorgeous offerings- including their new rose gold line and floral centerpieces by Noonan’s Wine Country Designs!
Sidecar Cocktail Co. displayed their Tinkertin Trailer Mobile Bar and shook up cocktails for the crowd, showcasing their popular drinks, ‘The Cure” and “My Hips don’t Lie”. Guests were treated to a fantastic display of food by Ribline Catering with stations providing hand carved sliders, salads, a Mac & Cheese Bar (a hit!), hand passed black truffle oysters, and their popular beach balls appetizer. For those with a sweet tooth, Ribline Catering displayed their baking prowess and introduced their new dessert offerings and cakes for 2017 weddings and events!
Guests partied and networked into the night with Kramer Events’s Silent Disco Party featuring Dueling DJ’s Conor and Lou, who put on quite a show! (Costume changes, drums kits and all!) Kramer Events also debuted their new massive Disco Ball, interactive green screen photo booth and light wall, which made quite the dramatic entrance and exit- and is available now for this season’s events.
