Real Wedding: Chelsea & Stefan • See Canyon Fruit Ranch

Chelsea & Stefan’s Wedding • See Canyon Fruit Ranch

There is something magical about bringing to life a couple’s unique vision for their wedding day successfully. It does not come easily, as the day can always take unexpected turns, but when a team has the ability to work together on all aspects of the event, the potential for the day to come together and exceed the couple’s original expectations rises drastically.

On October 7th, 2017, Stefan and Chelsea brought their wedding vision to life with the help of an integrated Kramer Events team at the lush Central Coast Wedding venue See Canyon Fruit Ranch. In the midst of ancient Oak trees, vibrant gardens, and overflowing fruit orchards, you might expect that a dream wedding would come together naturally, however, there is a world of team planning behind the scenes that is the backbone of a beautifully crafted event such as the Hardy Wedding.

As all wedding professionals know, there are bound to be a handful of obstacles that arise; like when the handmade Cake Pops began melting in the sun and our coordinators rushed them into the shade. Or when the dreaded scenario of running out of beer arose, and our lead coordinator went out to buy more while her assistant and the rest of the team worked together to rearrange the agenda and ensure no stress was put onto the couple or their guests. The beer was delivered right on time and the party was a blast! It is these little issues that can make or break an event depending on how they are handled, and when you go with Kramer Events you get the comfort in knowing that things will be handled efficiently.

Stefan and Chelsea’s love was so strong that after only one year of knowing one another, they took a leap of faith and moved across country together, but when it came to the planning of their wedding day, they went the route of certainty by entrusting our team with the month-of-coordination, DJ, Photography, and Photo Booth services. Our desire to make our clients happy and raise the public’s expectations of event professionals allowed us to create a vision of excellence for the Hardy’s and the guests that came to witness the exchange of their love that day.

Nick & Caitlin’s Wedding • Avila Beach Golf Resort

Oftentimes the best things in life are thrown at us unexpectedly. This was certainly the case when it came to the union of Caitlin and Nick. They first crossed paths in New York city, a place which had drawn them both away from their faraway hometowns. Upon meeting, they instantly felt that magical spark which lives in the presence of new love, but they never imagined how much their lives would intertwine or how they would grow to need one another. Not long after they met and fell in love, the universe let them know just how serious this was as Caitlin became pregnant – with twins! The couple embraced their surprising fate and brought forth the beautiful new life that became Jack and Fay and their lives have been unfolding together ever since.

Though Nick and Caitlin had already experienced the grandest of adventures side by side, they decided to solidify their love by entering into the sacred bond of marriage on September 23, 2017 at the beautiful Central Coast wedding venue, Avila Beach Golf Resort – a place that has held special meaning to Caitlin and her family for many years. So, with the sun shining overhead, and a light ocean breeze all around, this special couple said their I do’s surrounded by the ones they hold dear who had travelled from all sides of the country to pay witness to their love.

This wedding was yet another grand display of what the entire Kramer team can do when brought together to execute a couple’s vision for their big day. Caitlin and Nick utilized Kramer Events month-of-coordination service, ensuring that the day played out how they envisioned; Our Dj wedding package, which provided just the right vibes before and during their ceremony and kept the dance floor jumpin’ throughout the reception; and the full Kramer Events Wedding Photography package, ensuring that all their big moments were beautifully captured for them to cherish for a lifetime. All and all, the Johnson’s wedding was a lovely seaside experience that they and their guests will never forget!”

Real Wedding: Ryan and Lisa • Bianchi Winery

Ryan & Lisa’s Wedding • Bianchi Winery

You’ve heard the expression “opposites attract” before right? Well that couldn’t be more true when it comes to these two. Coming from different worlds, yet both possessing hearts of gold, contagious energy, and smiles that can light up a room. They are a match made in heaven, an observation that anyone present on their wedding day would surely make. The vivacious couple decided to bring their spunk to the central coast winery scene, and tied the knot at Bianchi Winery in Paso Robles.

The Seller’s wedding was full of bright colors, elegance, and touch of sparkle! Lisa’s bridal party was dolled up in a sultry coral, and outfitted with bouquets of pink and white roses; while Ryan and his mates dressed their suits up with teal ties and kept with the spirit of fun in their bright teal sunglasses. We were impressed with the couple’s ability to keep their guests physically engaged in today’s climate of iphones in front of faces by opting for an unplugged wedding – inviting their guests to be fully present during their one of kind ceremony. And it truly was a unique experience – I mean, when’s the last time you went to a wedding and witnessed the new bride and groom pull out their flasks, take a swig and proceed to walk down the aisle as husband and wife? #NationOfLyan was in full effect – from icing the bridal parties to starting one of the most epic conga lines known to man, the good times kept rolling until the end of the night. The couple ended their wedding evening with a hilarious couple photo in front of the Mirror Photo booth in which the groom asked his new wife, “Is it okay that i’m now shirtless under my vest?” to which she replied, “Of course it is!”.

In addition to utilizing the Kramer Photo booth service, Ryan and Lisa decided to bundle and enjoyed the peace of mind that comes with a solid execution of DJ, photography, videography, lighting, and month-of wedding coordination by the Kramer Events team. Ironically enough, Ryan used to work for Kramer back in the day as a DJ so it was only fitting that at one point he stepped up to rock the DJ board and kept the party bumpin’. The best aspect of going with an all inclusive Kramer Events service is witnessing a team of individuals working together seamlessly to produce an event that is top notch in every way.

Hey, we’re just out here trying to raise the public’s expectation of event professionals, and Ryan and Lisa’s spectacular vision for their wedding day matched perfectly with the Kramer Events company mission.

Alexis & Casey’s Wedding • Cambria Pines Lodge

What happens when an enchanted garden and soft, pastel colors meet? Alexis and Casey’s wedding at Cambria Pines Lodge happens! The beautiful bride and groom said their I Do’s at this intimate central coast wedding venue located in Cambria, California – a quaint beach town tucked away north of San Luis Obispo. Our photographer was able to effortlessly capture the undeniable connection between these two. By nightfall, the dance floor was packed, sparklers lit the sky and the newlyweds were off as husband and wife.

The central coast was named one of the happiest places on earth for a reason – the coastal beaches, lush landscapes and simply put, the way it makes you feel. Capture all of these moments with none other than a San Luis Obispo based photographer. They’re going to know all of the good spots anyways.

Brock & Jenelle’s Wedding | Terra Mia Vineyard

What happens when a handsome Firefighter meets a gorgeous, independent and entrepreneurial woman? A dynamic duo! Brock and Jenelle celebrated their love in front of family and close friends on May 6, 2017, at the always stunning Terra Mia Vineyard on the westside of the Paso Robles Wine Region.

Brock and Jenelle met and fell in love almost immediately. Both are very strong people, who shared a close bond with their families, and together are incredibly charitable to their community. The couple’s qualities were evident in their day as their guests were brought to happy tears as they watched their engagement video during the reception. While proposing, Brock had surprised Jenelle by hiding a tiny camera in the ring box, and caught her expression and her “YES” all on film. The Bride’s Father, who works in the Entertainment industry, then surprised the couple with his own video- a message of congratulations by “The Princess Bride” star, Cary Elwes, who wished the couple a “Happy Mawidge”.

Guests celebrated the couple and feasted on a delicious menu by Phil’s Catering (including an amazing Mac & Cheese!). Then, enjoyed a wedding cake crafted by the bride’s friend for her day.

Kramer Events Photographer, Patrick Ibarra, photographed the “joyous and loving” couple who could not wait to get back to the party and celebrate with their loved ones! Our DJ team shared that the event was one of their “Top 10” favorite weddings, as they ate, drank, and danced into the night at the gorgeous Terra Mia Vineyard!

Congratulations to Brock and Jenelle, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day!

Real Wedding: Katelyn & Bruce • Bianchi Winery

Bruce & Katelyn’s Wedding • Bianchi Winery

The clouds parted and the sun shined for Katelyn and Bruce’s wedding at Bianchi Winery in Paso Robles.  With a light-hearted color scheme of red, pink, and burgundy, the couple’s child-at-heart nature came through in every aspect of the day (they met in a toy store!). With a nod to vintage glamour, Katelyn chose satin flats from Etsy, and assisted her friend Lauren, owner of Etsy shop, Zella and Kay in creating a gorgeous felt toss bouquet. Making sure little touches that reflected their personality and personal style was marquee for the couple.

With its variance in location of ceremony and reception sites at Bianchi Winery, it is one of our favorite Central Coast Wedding Venues to shoot! We love how the winery’s lush vineyards meet the pond just off the tasting room, creating a variety of back drops and locations. The couple chose the hilltop area just off the winery’s production room to say their vows, and guests were treated stunning vineyard views and peeks of the sunset!

Having met when Bruce wandered into the toy store where Katelyn worked, the couple bonded early on their shared love of all things young-at-heart and Legos. Katelyn says that she knew immediately that Bruce was someone special, and thought about him non-stop after their first meeting. He found his way back to that toy store a few months later- and they have been inseparable since! They recently made the move from Katelyn’s hometown, San Luis Obispo, California, to College Station, Texas, where Bruce has a position at his Alma Mater, Texas A&M University.

With their shared love of the Paso Robles Wine Region, it was a natural choice for them to return to the Central Coast for their wedding. Friends and family from all over the country joined them for what became a weekend event of dinners, and (of course) wine tasting. Both fell in love with the pond at Bianchi Winery, and decided it was their dream venue.

Guests were escorted to the tasting room, where they were treated to hand passed appetizers by Chipwrecked Catering; bruschetta, mac and cheese stuffed sweet peppers, and fresh fruit- and sipped on a selection of wines by Bianchi Winery. Dinner was located on the patio overlooking the pond, and was a delicious buffet of prime rib, butternut squash lasagna, mashed potatoes, and green bean casserole- a few of the couple’s favorite dishes. Dessert was strawberry shortcake, also by Chipwrecked, and red velvet cake by Lickity Split, now known as Pardon my French Bakery.

As the sun set over Bianchi, guests danced to jazz standards and were entertained by the bride’s friends- all accomplished swing dancers. It was a swinging evening to remember in Paso Robles!

Real Wedding: Elisa and Ryan • Santa Margarita Ranch

Elisa and Ryan’s Wedding • Santa Margarita Ranch

Elisa and Ryan were two California-bred employees of Royal Caribbean International when they met halfway around the world on February 3, 2009. Elisa, a dancer and aerialist with the cruise ship’s production met Ryan, a lighting technician for the production department in a meeting for new crew members assigned to the ship. They soon found themselves forming a close friendship and that led to love on the high seas. Three years later Ryan proposed to Elisa, and their life long adventure began!

Their venue selection
Elisa and Ryan may have fallen in love on the other side of the world, but, they grew up just a few hours from each other in California; Elisa hails from Santa Maria, California, and Ryan, from Dinuba, California. Both wanted a Central Coast wedding venue that was not only close to their respective hometowns, but reflected their sense of style. They chose the historic Santa Margarita Ranch, just 45 minutes north of Santa Maria, because of it’s rustic appeal and outdoors focus.

How did they make their wedding unique?
It was very important to Elisa and Ryan to create an event that highlighted their personal style, and their love for family and friends (which included their cruise ship family!). They did not want to do anything that would be an expected tradition. We loved their cocktail and popcorn hour in the garden, and that the Groom utilized his background and worked with us to design the perfect lighting scheme for their reception in the historic barn.

The Day
With rustic sophistication and  meaningful details as their style inspiration, Elisa and Ryan used the outdoor locations around the ranch and the barn to it’s full advantage. We loved their choice of the massive oak tree in the garden as their ceremony back drop. For their reception personal touches like gifts of home made soaps, and their own floral design completed their vision to a “t”.

Their advice for future couples?
“Be patient, and take it one step at a time”. Congratulations Elisa and Ryan!

This past Saturday was an amazing day as we again had the privilege of working with an amazing and fantastic couple from Orange County. With stormy weather and consistent rain threatening to postpone the engagement shoot, fate won out and the skies opened up for a 3 hours of beautiful cloudy skies and a jaw dropping sunset. Sarah and Travis were nothing short of a blast and their genuine love for one another was so evident. The Coast was beautiful and Montana De Oro could not have been more picturesque and perfect. The shots we got were stunning and again, we felt so privileged to be working with such an amazing couple.
We love what we do.

“Amber teaches seven art classes at Templeton High School and dedicates countless hours before, after school, and on weekends, mentoring her students. Amber started the student Art Club, served as the Assistant Activities Director /ASB advisor, and doubled the participation in the California Scholarship Federation club which emphasizes students serving their community. Brian is a Volunteer Firefighter with SLO County Fire and is the Training Officer for his station. In the role of Training Officer, Brian is also a mentor to new recruits, many of whom are students straight out of high school still trying to decide their paths in life. Instead of spending hours volunteering as mentors and roles models, Brian and Amber could take on second jobs to help save for their wedding. But the couple says they’re not interested in giving up their passion for helping and guiding others, simply to spend more money and energy on themselves. They were nominated by a former student and fire academy trainee.”
